Should we pay to avoid ads?
Frequent visitors of our Internet forum wiki at the old address, https://isarc10internetforum.wikispaces.com/home , must have noticed on the top of all the sub-pages the warning text: "It's time for us to say farewell… Regretfully, we've made the tough decision to close Wikispaces. Find out why, and what will hapen, here "
Thanks to the courtesy of Belgrade University Faculty of Philosophy Department of Sociology, we are given for free this new address.to move all the content until July 30 2018, when all the wikis on the Wikispaces will be permanently erased. Having in mind that program platforms of wikispaces and moodle are not directly convertible, the job that awaits creator and organizers of this moodle "course" is formidable and therefore all help of IT wizards is more than welcome.

A call to a virtual preparation of the ISA 2018 RC10 session Self Management As Goal and Means of Empowerment..
    Dear colleagues
I am writing you again at this particular moment concerning the call for a virtual preparation of our ISA 2018 RC10 session Self Management As Goal and Means of Empowerment... for three main reasons.
The first is to remind you that the deadline for registration of the authors of accepted papers at http://www.isa-sociology.org/en/conferences/world-congress/toronto-2018/congress-registration/, March 20 2018, is swiftly approaching. According to the ISA rules, only abstracts of those who pay the registration fee will be included in the final Program and the Book of abstracts.
The second reason is the fact that our sessions by their content began to attract attention of social science journals. The latest invitation came on Sat, 17 Feb 2018 from the editorial office of Social Sciences (ISSN Print: 2326-9863, Online: 2326-988X, http://www.socialsciencesjournal.org), with the proposition to guest edit a Special Issue on The Concepts and Practices of Participation, OrganizationalDemocracy and Self-Management in the futures we want, since they were impressed by the topic during the Third ISA Forum. This year in Toronto we will be continuing the discussion of the general theme with an accent determined by the Toronto Conference main theme.
Please answer as soon as possible what do you think of this invitation, whether you have already published your papers concerning participation and self management in other journals, what are your publishing plans with the papers accepted for presentation within Toronto Conference, whether you would be interested to write something new on the theme for the special issue, or you have some other idea of possible common publishing effort of our findings concerning participation, organizational democracy and self-management?
The third reason is to inform you that, alas, our virtual meeting point at http://isarc10internetforum.wikispaces.com/Self+Management+As+Goal+and+Means+of+Empowerment is threatened, by the decision of the wikispaces to close down on July 30. I am looking for solutions, where to move all the rich historical and contemporary research on participation, organizational democracy and self-management gathered there since 2008 at ISA RC10 Internet Forum at http://isarc10internetforum.wikispaces.com/home. I began the search at my academic base, Belgrade University Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Sociology and the Institute for the sociological research. I am expecting an answer until the end of March.
Any suggestions where to move are more than welcome.
Awaiting your answers, I wish you all the best,
    Vera Vratuša

Should we pay to avoid ads?
    Dear colleagues and friends,
You have maybe already seen the text in the window on the top of every page of our ISA RC10 Internet Forum, which appeared today: It's time for us to say farewell… l.

I am still in shock due to the above message I received from the wikispaces today that they are closing down. This means that we must move all the contents to another place by july, and if we, that is I, as an organizer of our ISA RC10 internet forum, do not do this, all contents and documents will be permanently deleted.

I am looking for solutions, where to move all the material gathered since 2008 until today and even before, since I copied all the contents of the site made by Michal, and included data I came across during my own research of the history of our ISA RC10, and uploaded it within numerous sections of RC1 internet forum, like self-reflection, organizing and posting contributions to past and forthcoming conferences and commenting them, creating specialized networks for planning and conducting common research of selected problems, announcing and discussing RC10 statutes, past and future Boards, Budget, RC10 NEWSLETTER, calls for papers, on line courses , projects, virtual meetings, publications, proposal of relevant job ads, in memory, petitions, links …
Any suggestions where to move, would be most than welcome.
I am presently exploring the possibility to make a copy of ISA RC10 internet Forum on the server of the Belgrade university,Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Sociology, at http://moodle2.f.bg.ac.rs/course/index.php?categoryid=3, since the moodle program has even better interaction capabilities than wikispaces shutting down.
